Antenna Control Unit (ACU)

Antenna Control System is designed for control of three axis platforms in Azimuth, Elevation and polarization. The control unit has several modes of operation and user-friendly GUI for selecting the mode and monitoring and control (M&C).

  • The ACU is designed to address several applications of Antenna Control for the different types such as which fall under Man Portable terminals, Transportable Mobile Terminals.
  • The same controller can address large antennas used for VSAT Hubs such as 4.5m and above.
  • The controller provides manual as well as auto acquisition of selected satellite and moves the mount to the calculated look angles automatically.
  • The polarization is also adjusted as per geographical location and coordinates of the satellite.
  • The system includes GPS and magnetic compass for true north alignment and position data in case of manual operation.
